Vanguard Wines & Spirits recently embarked on an immersive trip to Italy alongside a select group of valued customers, reinforcing its commitment to quality, education, and strong international partnerships within the wine and spirits industry.
The visit took the team through some of Italy’s most respected producers, including Medici Ermete, Cevico, and Montresor, offering firsthand insight into the craftsmanship, heritage, and innovation behind their portfolios.
Throughout the journey, attendees experienced guided tours of vineyards and production facilities, gaining a deeper understanding of the winemaking process—from grape cultivation to bottling. The group also participated in curated tastings, sampling a diverse range of wines that reflect the unique terroirs and traditions of each region.
At Medici Ermete, known for its premium Lambrusco and sustainable practices, the team explored how modern techniques are blended with generations of expertise. The visit to Cevico, one of Italy’s leading wine cooperatives, highlighted not only its large-scale production capabilities and consistent quality standards, but also its expanding portfolio, including ready-to-drink (RTD) canned cocktails and a range of spirits, showcasing innovation beyond traditional winemaking. Meanwhile, Montresor showcased its rich Verona heritage, offering a closer look at classic Italian varietals and aging processes.
For Vanguard Wines & Spirits, the trip was more than a supplier visit—it was an opportunity to deepen relationships, align on brand vision, and equip both team members and customers with enhanced product knowledge.
“This experience allows us to connect the story behind the bottle directly to our market,” said a representative from Vanguard Wines & Spirits. “By understanding the passion and precision that go into each product, we are better positioned to share that value with our customers.”
The initiative underscores Vanguard Wines & Spirits’ ongoing dedication to bringing authentic, high-quality wines and spirits to its markets, while fostering meaningful collaborations with both suppliers and clients.
As the company continues to grow its portfolio, experiences like these remain central to its strategy—bridging the gap between producers and consumers through education, storytelling, and shared appreciation for exceptional products
